RENFREWSHIRE Provost Anne Hall has today joined the growing number of tributes to the victims of last night's horrific terrorist attack in Nice.
More than 80 people were confirmed dead after a 31 year-old French-Tunisian man ploughed a lorry into a crowd of people who were celebrating Bastille Day.
Renfrewshire's Provost, Anne Hall, said: "Our thoughts are with the people of Nice and we send them our condolences for the tragic loss that they have suffered.
"Once again we are seeing the shocking consequences of a terrorist atrocity, this time directed at innocent people celebrating Bastille Day.
"We utterly condemn all forms of terrorism wherever they happen in the world. Liberté, égalité, fraternité."
