A group of people were seen "running away" after a car was deliberately torched near a Renfrew cemetery.
Police were called to Arkleston Road, near Arkleston Cemetery and the footbridge over the M8, around 1.45am on Thursday, November 23.
The fire was extinguished and there were no reports of injuries.
An investigation was launched into the incident, which cops believe was deliberate.

They are looking through CCTV in the area and are appealing for witnesses.
A group of people were seen running away from the area, over the footbridge towards Cockels Loan, around the time.
They are asking anyone who saw the fire or has footage of it to contact 101 quoting reference 0279 of November 23.
Alternatively, calls can be made to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111, where anonymity can be maintained.
