Cops are continuing to investigate the cause of a fire in which a man was found dead.
A 999 response including fire crews and officers were called to a flat on Lang Street in Paisley on Friday afternoon.
The area was taped off and several roads were closed as emergency services worked to battle a blaze in the property.
The body of a man was found inside the home after the fire was extinguished.
The cause of the fire is still to be determined.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 5pm on Friday, August 18, 2023, we were called to a report of a fire at a flat on Lang Street, Paisley.
"Emergency services attended, and the body of a man was found within.
“Enquiries are continuing to establish the cause of the blaze."
