A SEARCH has been launched to help trace the owners of a lost tortoise that has been found in Paisley.
The Scottish SPCA said they found the tortoise on Cardell Drive in the town on Monday, June 19.
The animal has since been taken into the charity’s care at their Glasgow centre.
In a social media post appealing for information on the tortoise, the SSPCA said: “Please note, this is not a rehoming post.
“Please only contact us if you have relevant information.
“This tortoise was found on Cardell Drive in Paisley on June 19.
“They are now in the care of our Glasgow centre.
“If you recognise this animal or have any information please call 03000 999 999.”
