A WOMAN has been seriously injured after being crushed between two cars in Paisley town centre.
Emergency services rushed to rescue a 37-year-old woman in New Street at around 12.40pm this afternoon.
She was attempting to stop her car rolling down the hill when she got wedged in between a parked vehicle and her own car.
She has been taken to Royal Alexandra Hospital to receive treatment for a possible serious leg injury
Emergency services arrived at the scene and the woman was rushed to Paisley Royal Alexandra Hospital for treatment.
A Police Scotland spokesman said: “At around 12.40pm, police and emergency services responded to a report of a 37 year-old woman having been injured as she was trapped between her own moving vehicle and a parked car.
“She was taken to the Royal Alexandra Hospital to receive treatment for a possible serious leg injury.
“Enquiries are ongoing.”
